Purchased originally by Longwood Combined First Responders.Ownership was transferred in January 2003 to the Ridge Fire District.
Yaphank Fire District Mechanic outfitted the unit as an emergency vehicle.
It is a fully functional ALS (Advanced Life Support) vehicle providing paramedic level care from Monday to Friday 10am to 6pm and BLS level care Monday to Friday from 5am to 10am. We utilize a state of the art Zoll M-Series AED/Cardiac Monitor, Iron Duck tech bags, IV's and a full compliment of cardiac, diabetic and other emergency drugs.
The unit is equipped with Suffolk County Firecom, Medcom and Ridge High-band radios.
